Balance

I think this photo is balanced because of the shape that the firemen and the flag make. The triangle sort of shape they make and the simple background is more pleasing to the viewer than a bunch of people trying to hoist up a skinny flag.

   Homework is a topic that has been widely argued for a long time. Students and some teachers think that homework is unnecessary and ineffective. I believe that is not necessary for students to do on their own time.    After school work usually becomes more time consuming as students progress in the education system. Homework seems to become harder in high school. High school is when many students start working at jobs. The Camera

1) The camera obscura effect is an optical effect. You can achieve this effect in a completely dark room using a hole in the wall and a light . The hole acted as a lens when the light was focused and the  outside image was projected upside down on the wall. It was the first camera. 2) Isaac Newton and Christian Huygens got a better understanding of optics, and learned how to make higher quality lenses to make a better camera. 3) In 1827 , Joseph Nicephore Niepce added film to create the first successful photograph. He used a glass lens, a dark box, and a film. 4) Modern cameras still have some of the same features as the old ones. Light still has to pass through the lens and into the camera, and the end result is still a photograph. 5) More modern digital cameras use an electronic sensor called a CCD. 1. Varsity cheerleaders prepare for national competition The article is about the varsity cheerleading team at Bowie preparing to go to a national cheer competition in orlando, Florida. The article highlights different preparations the team has done in order to get ready. Also, the article explains the hardships that have happened and the goals for this competitions. The article is about the varsity cheerleaders. It is about preparing for the competition. The article doesn't really take place anywhere, but maybe Bowie. This event is on Feb.10th. The articles purpose is to give the reader insight on the preparations made by the team. The article summarizes the event and quotes cheerleaders to let the reader know what is happening.
