A. The most powerful image may be the one of him and his father at the table. It is the most powerful because it shows how the army has affected him and his family.
B. The images show the events that led up to major parts of his life. They also show a lot of important moments that define him and what he has been through.

D. Ian Fisher enlisted in the army and went through rigorous training to build him up to be a solider. He encountered many hardships and pain, and was put on several drugs that affected him in a big way and worried his family. Even though it was hard, he made new friendships and found joy in many things. He then enlisted for year-long deployment where he was sent to Iraq. He learnt what it was like to become a solider, even though he wasn't out fighting all the time. when he comes back he marries.
E. In the photos where he is the main subject, he is described in present tense.
F. They are about 2-3 sentences long. The first sentence provides who is in the photo, what is happening, the date, and why the event is happening. The second sentence provides extra information that you wouldn't be able to know by just looking at the photo. the third sentence usually provides  quote of some sort or extra information. A lot of captions include a quote to put the subjects input in the caption. Yeah, the fourth sentence is a quote.
G. I think it is possible to create a story with just captions and images. The pictures probably have to have more emotion and/or action to be able to give the viewer an insight to what is going on. I think that the images might give a better story even, because the pictures can show the viewer the action in a way it is easier to understand.
H. You may write a story to give more detail and explain the past. Stories can tell a lot about extra detail and what else is happening that you can't see in the photo.
