1. I think that I chose the pictures I chose because of the people in them. I think that I wanted to pick them because Joel Meyerowitz showed those people and the world around them.

2. In the first photo titled
New York, 1963 by Joel Meyerowitz, I see a kid probably not wanting to get in the car. I see a man holding open the door. I also see the seemingly bland buildings in the back. I smell the city, and the smell of taxi exhaust. I smell the musty inside or the car and maybe an air freshener. I also smell the cologne of the man holding open the door.I hear cars and taxis honking their horns. I hear the sounds of people talking and walking. Also, I hear the person urging the child to get into the car. I taste the smoke in the air, crisp air of what seems like fall because of her coat. I taste the dust inside of the car. I also taste the persons strong cologne. I feel maybe excited to get this kind of photo. Also, I might feel pity for the kid. But meanwhile, I might also feel irritated by the kid's fit. In the second photo titled
NYC New Year's Eve, 1965 also by Joel Meyerowitz I see a couple taking the opportunity to kiss in from of the movie sign in the middle of the New York bustle. I see people talking with other people and moving in a fast manner. I see trench coats and hats. I smell several people's perfumes and colognes. I think I would also smell popcorn and movie snacks. I smell taxi exhaust. I hear several people talking and several people's feet hitting the concrete. I hear someone calling out prices for movie tickets. I also hear cars in the background and commotion due to New Year's Eve. I taste the car fumes in the air. I can taste the popcorn. Also I can taste the dust from people's coats kind of like a grandma's coat closet. I feel content and excited for the New Year. I also feel enticed by the scene of this image. I feel like that day was a good day.
3. I think it would be a good idea to show Joel through his photographs. That was probably what he wanted to show, so it would be cool to hang his pictures up anywhere. Like putting random picture and facts so it is different from those other informational posters.
